In what is a bit of a spoilsport, Arsenal won't be playing on Boxing Day tonight. (London strike for the metro trains in Arsenal Picadilly Line side) So we will have to do with watching the potential Top8-ers fight it out for that lucrative Champions League Slots.
To be fair, i think Arsene and myself ain't aiming so low as fourth. We know that with a good run, we can be 3rd. To be top-2 would have seen the most ludicrous drop of points by Manc. clubcs ever to lose a championship. But alas, Transfer Window is coming soon.
With rumours we be off-loading Arshavin and prob one or two others on loans, that paves the way for some reinforcements.
Many Arsenal fans are budging at the door to be heard and they all want more players to revive our season. Let's see if the rumours to the Ba / L. Biglia / A. Lopez / Diame / K. Strootman transfers have legs. To be frank, i think we will see one out of those few mentioned arrive but with one more "Lesser-known" up-coming youngster signing. E.g. Wilfred Zaha or another French youngster from Ligue 1 or the Barca academy?
Well we will wait in anticipation. Until the next Arsenal game this coming Sat, lets enjoy our festive meals and time spent with loved ones.
